Emmy Sutherland

Paralegal Extraordinaire, Emmy Sutherland, began working as Kris’ paralegal in 2019. Emmy graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a major in Communication Studies and a Management minor. After working in the video production field, Emmy decided to pursue her passion – the law.

Emmy is currently attending North Hennepin Community College to obtain her post-baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate. She is the President of North Hennepin’s Paralegal Student Association and was recently recognized by her peers as the Outstanding Club Officer of the Year.

Emmy handles the details of each case and has her finger on the pulse of what is going on with each client. She is our point person for all communication and does an excellent job keeping clients well informed of what is happening in their case on a regular basis. Naros Law does not believe in voice mail – our clients deserve to talk to US! Kris feels that the best part of her job – other than winning in court – is talking with clients personally and getting to know them as well as their families. As a client at Naros Law, you become one of our family and that is how we care about you – like family. When Kris is in court, Emmy is always there to lend a helpful hand, a kind ear and ready answers to questions you might have. She is a very patient, understanding and compassionate young woman who truly cares about each client. At Naros Law, it is standard operating policy that every client is copied on every piece of correspondence coming in or going out on their case so they always know what is going on.

Emmy keeps the wheels of justice moving as swiftly as possible, staying on insurers who aren’t promptly paying benefits owed, prodding opposing attorneys hired by insurers who try to delay proceedings, working with court personnel to see that each case is filed and moving forward as quickly as possible, re-scheduling court appearances to accommodate clients’ work and travel schedules and otherwise seeing to it that every clients’ case moves forward in an organized and timely manner.

Not a day goes by that we don’t hear several people complimenting Emmy for her help. An integral and crucial part of the Naros Law team, we are fortunate to have such a loyal, hard working and dedicated woman as Emmy taking care of our clients, who entrust us with their most important matters.

In her spare time, Emmy enjoys hiking, cooking, and playing rugby with the Twin Cities Amazons.
